FREELANCE WRITING 101

Welcome to the brilliant world of freelance writing.

Now before you roll your eyes and open another tab, just hear me out.

As a freelance writer, you could make a steady income of $5000 a month (that wasn't a typo) and you can do this from the comfort of your home...or office. All you need is a laptop/tab/phone with internet access, some writing skills and the Will to succeed.

Interested?

I thought so. And NO, this isn't another  Ponzi scheme (don't get me started on that). I'm talking about becoming an expert in a niche, starting a very lucrative business, finally quitting that job you hate so much and getting paid to write.

Sound too good to be true?

Well, it's not.

So what is Freelance Writing?... Or who is a freelance writer?

A freelance writer is a self-employed writer who works for magazines, newspapers, websites, blogs, individuals, organizations etc.

The freelancers services are hired for specific jobs. Have you seen the movie, "Suicide Squad?" Well, if you haven't, one of the heroes of the story is a character called Deadshot, played by Wil Smith. This character is a highly skilled assassin who sells his "services" to paying clients. A freelance Writer is sort of like that (without the killings, Ofcourse). He or she is not a staff of the client, but a skilled hand hired to write, email newsletters, blog posts, reviews, ebooks etc.

It's a highly lucrative job. There are freelance writers who make $35000 per job---no B.S.

So why would anyone hire a freelance writer? Well for one thing, it's cheaper. In a time when businesses are prudent with funds, it makes sense to "outsource" writing jobs as opposed to employing a writer, and having him/her on a steady salary. SMALL BUSINESSES ARE USING FREELANCE WRITERS.Find out why

"The primary benefits of hiring a freelancer are the flexibility and money savings, said Steve Dongo, managing director at The Plato Group.

Freelancers not only can work on demand as needed, but businesses also can pick and choose work-ready talents with specific skills, such that training will not be required.

Moreover, with payroll being a huge chunk of fixed costs for businesses, hiring freelancers lets businesses convert them into variable costs."

Having had successes in writing myself, I decided to share what I've learned with hopes of empowering writers. Earning $35000 per writing job isn't some fable told at a bar by some drunk guy named Tom. It can your story.

All you need is the Will and passion to do it.

It's not going to be easy.

Freelance writing is hard work. But YOU CAN DO IT!

You don't need a PHD in English or a fancy, ridiculously expensive writing course. You DO need to know how to write well (I'll help as best I can) you also need to "want it."
I'll be giving  step by step lessons on: Getting started with freelance writing, the different types of freelance writing, finding your niche, landing  your first job and improving your craft.    I'll also throw in samples (when I can) and videos to help you go from here to being your own boss.

7 benefits of being an entrepreneur

Because of my other engagements, I can only post on Thursdays and Mondays.

So what am I offering?

A no B.S approach to making money via writing. I'll break down the steps for simplicity.
So, I'll talk to you again.

Success is a choice.

Never doubt yourself.
Enough said.
